If we hire Raymond as a DC (heck even as a DB coach), we better have someone else waiting in the wings to take his place. If he has any type of success, or is offered anything he considers better, he's going to bolt. Good guy, but he won't be here long if he comes imo.
Edit: Let me add, though, that the single life may serve as the "Big Joker" in this situation.
Who gives a *** if a coach leaves? You want your coaches to be wanted.
Auburn fans said the same thing with Muschamp and now they are scrambling. Sure, you want your guys to be wanted. You do not, however, want your guy to leave after a year which would be a real possibility with Raymond.
