The part that stood out to me was him saying it's tough to play for me. Paul Williams would've never said a bold statement like that. I. Want.
 
Raymond as DC is a joke.

You want to hire an SEC assistant coach to call your defense, rehire Randy--at least you know he can call a defense and likely at a top 10 level. (Not that I'm promoting Shannon, but I'd take Shannon over Raymond as DC any day of the week).

This defense needs an experienced, proven guy, so Richt can focus on Brad Kaaya and our offense.

It's funny...because this is the exact same thing we were saying about Coach Kool...that he could easily take a NFL job, but would be easier to convince with the Co-DC title. Also similar in that both Coach Kool and Raymond has strong rumors out that they wanted to get a crack at DC.

Probably. How about him, and a veteran DC? Let the veteran proven DC call the plays, just throw the Co-DC title on Raymond's name as a way to get him extra $ and get him away from LSU.
