The play where the UF guys were blocking eachother though lolYeah they probably didn't need to specifically call out his name.....but it was possibly the worst play for all time
I don’t get it, never in a million games would I ever do that stupid ****. It’s comical elementary peewee football 8U type of funny. There is a real young man, who tries hard, and made a silly mistake in a very public way.
Tough to be him right now.
Here's to hoping tomorrow is better.
Don't disagree.I don’t get it, never in a million games would I ever do that stupid ****. It’s comical elementary peewee football 8U type of funny.
So instead of tackling the guy he was gonna let his team mate do it? Wait wut? As a former college safety myself I never, evah, evaaaahhh! let another team mate make a tackle that I could’ve make.it looks like he was about to tackle the guy but saw his team mate was going to do it - then saw the other guy coming who was going to block him so defended himself. That’s what it look like to me...
That’s what it looked like to me also. I dont think he saw his teammate behind the receiver either. In all, you’re still supposed to shoot out and not wait til the ball carrier gets to you.it looks like he was about to tackle the guy but saw his team mate was going to do it - then saw the other guy coming who was going to block him so defended himself. That’s what it look like to me...
I’m with you. F Booger or anyone else who thinks its funny to rip on a college kid during an NFL event. The play where the UF guys were blocking eachother though lol
I will say this is like the family thing. We can talk about how bad it was but if someone outside says it, I’m not ok with it
Honestly it may be the single worst attempt at D I have ever witnessed. They just ripped Gurvan and Miami on the Monday night pregame for his horrible glitch play where he decided to go for the blocker instead of the guy with the ball. We byke!!!!
How about Ivey not covering the fake punt?Honestly it may be the single worst attempt at D I have ever witnessed.
IMO he thought the ball carrier was going outside and was trying to go through the block to get to him.So instead of tackling the guy he was gonna let his team mate do it? Wait wut? As a former college safety myself I never, evah, evaaaahhh! let another team mate make a tackle that I could’ve make.
They person that should be embarrassed is Manny Diaz. He’s failing these kids.
That’s what it looked like to me also. I dont think he saw his teammate behind the receiver either. In all, you’re still supposed to shoot out and not wait til the ball carrier gets to you.
I remember him getting trucked by that UNC rb last year. Then UNC used the clip to promote they brand on Twitter. Can't let Carter off the hook here.
There is no explanation.IMO he thought the ball carrier was going outside and was trying to go through the block to get to him.
That's the only reasonable explanation.
I keep freezing the play at :08 and just shake my head.
