I won’t root against the team I love. I guess I’m just indifferent because of what the team I love has become, as I see teams like Wake Forest and others alike get better as we spiral out of control. I look at us and we’re in last place of the Coastal division in the ACC. Also, we are 2-9 in our last 11 away games which doesn’t give me much hope. Alcohol helps.

OGs knew from Goldens first game showing that his style of ball wasn’t going to work. We gave up pass after pass in the flat to a team that ended the year with one win. The defense was the worst in program history for 4 out of 5 years during his tenure. He was never going to make a coordinator change. ****, he kept promoting interns to full time coaches bc he was a dead man walking. The writing was on the wall Year 1 game 1. But we had another *** as AD in Hocutt.

Richt had red flags early. 4 game losing streak year 1, but the Bowl win kept the pitch forks at bay. Year 2 we were very sloppy but lucked out last second wins and beat FSU which kept the pitchforks at bay yet again until we lost the final 3 games. All the good Will was burned up and he had a chance to hire a competent OC for year 3. You know the rest

Golden was never going to change.

Richt “retired” bc he wasn’t going to change.

Diaz has a chance to weather the storm and make some positive offseason hires. Changes that are desperately needed. But if Diaz is anything like the above coaches then he deserves to be rooted against. And if he’s out by the end of the year then that’s 4 years we won’t have to endure another stubborn coach who won’t make necessary changes.

Until we hire our next coach and if he doesn't win year one, people will be calling for him to be fired. It is never ending. Give someone a chance to get a year or two under their belt. Christ.

I'm not putting my head in the sand, we are a bad team right now, all around. Things need to improve in all 3 phases, but you simply cannot do that in 8 games. It is what it is this year. Root for improvement and if we don't see it, then I can judge.

Yeah, I’m not rooting for us to lose... but I don’t expect to win any game except against Bethune. Both CMU and Virginia wins didn’t really even feel like wins to me... it’s been pathetic. And the loses have been horrific to watch such poor play. I think we lose tomorrow... so we’ll probably win like we did against Virginia and look bad doing it.

I have to say, tomorrow’s game is the one I’ve least looked forward to in at least 3 years.

Your super fan persona in the last week or 2 is just as bad and annoying as the fans who want to lose by 100. When you’re 3-4 and playing the worst Football since 97’ the boards are going to be negative.
