Stole him from the Eagles practice squad. Good look for him. Hopefully he impresses and secures a spot as Luck's backup.

The Colts really have a chubby for former Canes. Wish they were actually winning this year with them. Scott Covington is probably expecting a call next.

I wasn't a huge Morris fan but I'm one of the very few that'll admit he played on a completely bum ankle his last year. That affected his already limited game, tremendously!!!! i believe he hurt it against FAMU of all teams.

He's hung around the NFL now for a few year for a reason. Best of luck to the kid.

Former Cane OC, and Morris got the benefit of a former Cane OC when drafted by Jax.

Morris has all the physical tools, it is the mental aspect that needs work.

Bum ankle was why he should not have been playing and how Williams was screwed over.

He can't throw dirt balls in Indy. It is an artificial surface.

"stole him" lulz. chud better draw the playbook in crayon if he wants stemo to learn the offense.

i'm also sure that morris' hurt ankle was the reason he threw into double and triple coverage regularly, and didn't understand the concept of a checkdown.

Stop it, Morris was coming along nicely under Fisch, the kid finished as one of the hottest QBs in America at the end of 2012. Not His fault He had 3 OCs during His time at UM.

and? jacory came along nicely in the year he had fisch too. it's more that fisch was a great college qb coach and coordinator than morris being a good quarterback. the second the offense actually required him to make reads, he fell apart completely. there's a reason that he hasn't been anything more than a practice squad player: morris has an nfl arm and a pop warner brain.

How about just say you didn't like him?

Only this fanbase can't put 2+2 together. Morris might not be an elite QB, but had success with the right coach (Fisch). You have Morris who ended the season strong under Fisch and got lots of draft hype heading into the next season. Then Coley comes in and he falls apart. Now everyone wants Coley gone, because it's obvious he doesn't know what he's doing. It was so frustrating watching everyone bash on Morris and defend Coley, when it was obvious Coley was garbage.

Unfortunately, those same people never stopped to think, maybe Morris wasn't as bad as we think, but was hindered greatly by Coley (again, not saying Morris was elite, or even really good). Say what you will, but Coley cost that kid some money. Someone would have taken a shot on Morris in the draft possibly in the mid to late rounds if he had the same season his Sr year as his Jr year just based on this throwing power alone.
