What say you?

As I type, Bama is losing to Auburn and Washington is tied against Washington St

SEC Winner is in if Georgia undefeated. Bama would get in if they beat Georgia but need to win today. Also possible a one loss Georgia team makes it
Oregon/Washington winner is in regardless I think even if Washington loses to Washington St but I really would like Washington to win today
If Michigan beats Iowa they're in
FSU needs to win out
As of now since Oklahoma St is losing, Texas has to play Oklahoma again

Long way to go, but Texas if they lose in the Big 12 CG gets left out, FSU can get left out regardless and it still plausible Ohio St backs in again

Bumping this up

Should be Tuesday

1) Georgia
2) Michigan
3) Washington
4) Florida St
5) Oregon
6) Texas
7) Ohio St
8) Alabama

Basically, SEC winner is in
Michigan is in with a win against Iowa
Washington/Oregon winner is in
FSU if beat Louisville and is undefeated probably gets in, leaving Texas out, unless Bama as an SEC winner does not get in because Texas beat Bama. But, no way an SEC Champ should get left out

Gets tricky if Bama beats Georgia, does Georgia still find a way in? I think they are a top 4 team regardless but knowing the committee they'll use the fact that Texas beat Alabama to put Texas ahead of Georgia

What if FSU and Texas lose? Georgia wins the SEC. Does Ohio St actually back door it again sitting home not making their Conference CG while others lose who did?

Objectively, Georgia and Washington if they lose should both still be ahead of Ohio St but we all know Ohio St gets treated with way too much deference

With the possible exception of UGA, there isn’t a one loss team that gets in over Texas.

I’m not so sure anymore that FSU gets in, even if they’re undefeated. It would be a gutsy move by the playoff committee, but certainly justified to take a one loss Georgia, Bama, Oregon, or Texas over them. If the goal is to take “The four best teams” then clearly FSU doesn’t belong. I don’t think that’s my FSU hatred or bias interjecting either…that’s my honest and true assessment.

And Ohio St has only beaten 2 ranked teams, 3 loss ND and Penn St

The rest of that wonderful Conference doesnt have any ranked teams other than Michigan and Iowa

All I know is the committee is praying LOU beats FSU and Bama doesn’t beat UGA.

If those two scenarios happen…they’re going to have to make a lot of tough calls.

Winner of the Pac 12 Title game

FSU will lose to Louisville in the ACCCG.

Actually, I think they [committee] hope Bama beats UGA...in that scenario, both are locks for playoff. Other 2 are Meeesheeeghan and Pac12 Champ (probably Ducks).

**** FSU, undefeated or not, they are outside looking in and it is glorious.

I do believe UGA is going to do bad things to Bama, so Bama is out of the 4 regardless, then FSU (beating Louie) probably gets the 4 slot.

If FSU gets in, they'll be paired against UGA. The committee will want to give Georgia the easiest first round matchup. If Michigan wins and Georgia wins a nail-biter against Bama, the committee will miraculously choose to move FSU to number 3 because of the "determination to win without Travis".. but it'll be BS. They just want that first game for UGA to be easy

UGA beats Bama
Oregon beats Washington
Louisville beats FSU
Michgan beats Iowa
Texas beats Oklahoma State

CFP:
UGA
Michigan
Oregon
Texas

UGA beats Oregon
Michigan beats Texas

Michigan beats UGA

Harbaugh says “**** you NCAA, **** you B1G“ - returns to NFL

More wish than prediction. I think UGA would beat Michigan.

Anyone but FSU

I know the FSU comment is going to hurt some of your feelings, but they are not one of the best four teams in America. It'd be sweet to see an undefeated Noles squad get ****ed down by the NCAA and excluded from the playoffs. In fact, I look forward to it.

I don’t think FSU will be undefeated. I think Louisville beats them next weekend.

media heads will talk all they want but no way that they leave an undefeated FSU acc champ out of the playoff and put in a one loss team over them

ACC commish and brass would revolt, too much money at stake

(hope Louisville beats them next week)

Let them in and watch them get obliterated by the UGA / BAMA winner, because that is who they will play in the first game. It will be an *** whooping for the ages, absolutely demoralizing on every level. That's the silver lining.
