College Football Coaching Staffs

Top 5. In terms of coaching and development.

But our recruiting right now leaves a lot to be desired, which is surprising given we have Ruiz, Highsmith, and the whole staff is full of elite recruiters. Yet somehow we’re way behind the top 5 right now

I am going to pretend you are not a troll and are actually a functional human for the sake of my response.

Dude, its June, right now Texas Tech is #8 and Alabama is #21. Get it yet?

Look at the "3-stars" we have that you keep crying about:

We flipped Reid from Clemson and beat out Alabama, Auburn, FSU, LSU, Oregon, UNC, Ole Miss, and OK and UF who were his other finalists. Problem?

Alex Mirabal identified Tripp early as an IOL and went after him hard. He also had offers from TAMU, PSU, MSU, MICH, USCe, UK, TENN, WISKY, VT, BC, and more. A lot of very strong OL programs in that list. Problem?

Jackson Carver, who has D1 lacrosse and hockey offers too and has sky high potential is almost brand new to football yet still already had 33 offers. We beat out ND, Iowa, FSU, L'ville, KU, LSU, MSU, UNC, VT, Wisky, USCe and more for him. Problem?

Bobby Washington is a headhunter and Robby's bro who has offers from FSU, Auburn, OK, L'ville, Ole Miss, Pitt, Texas, Utah and many more. Problem?

Emory Williams is currently in CA competing at the Elite 11 where he earned a spot. UF, FSU and others have been fervently trying to get traction with him to no avail. And he's our 2nd QB. That's right, our DEPTH PIECE is Elite 11. Problem?

Frankie Tinilau is another massive jumbo athlete with high athleticism that Mirabal found, and other major programs have been trying to get in on. He is enrolling in HS at La Salle in Dade, and just like every guy mentioned above, is expected to rise in the rankings and offer lists. Problem?

So which of these 3-stars exactly are you having a problem with? Texas has five 3-stars so far. UGA has three. So does USC. OK has 6 and Bama has one already.

Last year TAMU had four, UGA had EIGHT, Texas had 5 more, Michigan took 12, Clemson had 10, LSU 8. UF 11.

Then of course we have two monster top 100 kids already, including possibly the best QB in the country, with a third top kid coming on in an hour.

And on and on. Your problem is you believe these lists, made by unemployable drunken mailmen are accurate, more than what P5 HC's think. Ridiculous. We took all these guys EARLY. They aren't backup plans the staff had to pivot to when we lost other kids. Trust the staff, trust their evaluation, and maybe sit recruiting out until December. You're not built for it.

Speaking of coaching staffs, have we heard from our linebacker room about the change to Charlie Strong? Always curious about this one…assume it’s 100x better and more positive than the previous staffs.
