And this is why perception warps prospects’ self awareness and scouts’ grading. Kid was an early developer in a good situation, and people were enamored by a potential 16 year old true freshman when the jit needed two more years of HS development.

He had more good publicity than good games. Prodigy who was never a real prodigy.
