We all know Coley, when healthy, is one of the most dynamic WRs in the ACC if not the country. With Richards, My gut and from everything I have read, seems like the real deal as well. He just seems very mature (almost like Brad Kaaya freshman level mature) and obviously he is extremely talented. 2001 era aside, I can't remember a time when we've had two WRs this talented on the same depth chart? Benjamin and Hankerson were pretty good, but both of them were kind of projects that blossomed. The ceiling for Coley and Richards is much higher.

I don't see a problem with our passing game this year in terms of depth. We have 6 capable WR's, all of our TE's are threats in the passing game to include the freshman, Dobard is the weakest link but can't be ignored, our top 2 RB's (Walton/Yearby) are elite pass catchers out of the backfield, and we are going to see one of our athletic TE's (most likely Herndon) take some passes out of the FB position.

Our only problem right now is a lack of elite speed from our WR group as a whole. Really wish we were recruiting Quantino Allen or had Tyrell Shavers to be some elite, speedy threats.

Less than 700 yards and he's considered one of the most dynamic WRs in college? Ehhhh... he has to show up this year and live up to the hype.

Coley is rated as the #1 Slot WR for this upcoming draft class btw

I agree he projects well to the NFL but the production at the college level is not there. Blame it on the offensive coordinators or whatever. That being said, I do think Coley will ball out this year 800+ yards and our go to big play guy.

Coley is either big time or bust. If he goes big time this season he will smash the season receiving yards record. He is an incredible talent but so very injury prone. Pray he stays healthy and his head is right.

we going to act like the stephen morris/kayaa freshman wideouts didnt set record numbers

again offense hasnt been our problem really. our defense has been soft *** ****

Coley will be a force in the league.
But he can change where he is drafted here.
If he goes to a team with a QB next level he'll play 10 years.

we had dorsett and hurns

True - guess I left them out. Dorsett and Hurns were great, love them. Think Coley + Richards (and Bruce) could be more dangerous. Not sure about Berrios though, wasted scholly IMO, thinking Bruce sends him to the bench. Not sleeping on Mullins either.

I think there are basically 2 things that have conspired to sidetrack what could have been up to this point a dynamic career for Stacy Coley. All you have to do is watch the Pittsburgh game his fresh year to see what kind of talent he is/can be. Injuries and James Coley have really done a number on Stacy since that breakout game vs Pitt. The injuries are obvious but it's James Coley's incompetence that has been severely underrated in terms of it's negative impact on Stacy's career thus far.

James Coley had absolutely no clue how to get Stacy the ball. To a simpleton like James Coley the answer was easy. Get Stacy the ball on bubble screens because it is a low risk play and they are an easy way to get your most explosive receiver the ball. The trouble with that is that after the first 20 times running the same **** play the defense knew it was coming. Not to mention the fact that the bubble should be something utilized as an occasional spin off your base offense. It should never serve as a foundational type of play.

I'm very much looking forward to seeing how Richt utilizes a healthy Start Coley. I hope the kid has a monster year. After having to endure Folden for 3 years, he deserves it.

The film I've seen of the new guys shows we're a half-a-second better than last year when it comes to the receivers.

And who is GA's WR coach? Holloman are you listening?

People are already hyping up Richards before he even practices in pads.

With all this talk I am expecting this kid to have anywhere between Watkins and Cooper Frosh type numbers and immediate impact.
