Coley & Richards most talented WRs in a looooooong time

,
Less than 700 yards and he's considered one of the most dynamic WRs in college? Ehhhh... he has to show up this year and live up to the hype.

Coley is rated as the #1 Slot WR for this upcoming draft class btw

I think there are basically 2 things that have conspired to sidetrack what could have been up to this point a dynamic career for Stacy Coley. All you have to do is watch the Pittsburgh game his fresh year to see what kind of talent he is/can be. Injuries and James Coley have really done a number on Stacy since that breakout game vs Pitt. The injuries are obvious but it's James Coley's incompetence that has been severely underrated in terms of it's negative impact on Stacy's career thus far.

James Coley had absolutely no clue how to get Stacy the ball. To a simpleton like James Coley the answer was easy. Get Stacy the ball on bubble screens because it is a low risk play and they are an easy way to get your most explosive receiver the ball. The trouble with that is that after the first 20 times running the same **** play the defense knew it was coming. Not to mention the fact that the bubble should be something utilized as an occasional spin off your base offense. It should never serve as a foundational type of play.

I'm very much looking forward to seeing how Richt utilizes a healthy Start Coley. I hope the kid has a monster year. After having to endure Folden for 3 years, he deserves it.

The 2 things that have kept coley from reaching his potential are easy to see. Injuries and guts.
Hard to be a good slot receiver when you gator arm any ball over the middle.
Hopefully, for his sake and ours, Coley grew some balls over the summer.
