Colbie Young with and without TVD

TVD only had him for 7 quarters and he caught 16-202-3. Since then he has played 18 quarters and gone 15-174-2 showing why TVD was stating to show flashes of last year when he got hurt. We have possibly the best WR in ACC and can’t get ball to him. It would be great to see them together next year.

He’s shown flashes against the worst teams in the ACC but I’m not ready to crown him the best WR in the conference based on 7 quarters of garbage competition.
 
colbie def needs to work on his footwork, but most of the blame for lack of production is gattis playcalling, esepically with backup qbs. he runs even more conservative plays and CY is running shallow crosses, bubble screens and 3 yard outs. Guys like Colbie need to be getting downfield on most plays.

Young would be great for spot routes, stick, hunt-dig, and back shoulder jump balls. They're throwing the jit bubbles. Unreal.

How about Gattis (and every OC before him too) realizing Mallory has ZERO dog in him to block… he legit has no mindset for it

Kid is a pass catching TE… it’s hilarious that our OCs keep giving him the responsibility when it’s obvious by now he’s just not or ever will be good at it

The 2023 WR / TE roster will be interesting. Reid Miskaska is 6'6" and seems to play pretty aggressive football ... so that will be two 6'6" TE's joining the roster and AH has an offer out to another 6'6" WR at a small school that has 1020 receiving yards this season as a portal addition. Just need a quality OC that can actually scheme to the rosters potential.
