Colbie Young made two big plays that no other WR on this team can, or is willing to make.
1. Catch on the sideline. Ladson may be the only other WR capable of such a play, but he plays like he's 5'10". Colbie sold out and used every millimeter of his frame to keep his foot down in bounds.
2. The TD catch. Honestly, it was a thing of beauty. He stacks Grimes and uses his big frame to box him out while the ball is in the air. Then uses his strength to separate at the last second and come away with the catch(and he high pointed it, my God). Only thing Grimes could have done there is grab on to Colbie and probably draw a flag.
That was a play we were used to seeing Rambo make last year and we all know the numbers TVD put up with that type of deep threat. It's not all about speed, but rather positioning and playing the ball in the air. Colbie needs to take somebody's spot.
