Im actually stunned that Notre Dame hires Freeman.

Didnt expect it tbh. They must have dropped a big one.

Why. He’s recruiting reach is in the Midwest. Coming to LSU makes him have to create new pipeline. Just think it makes more sense for his coaching future. Once Fickell bounces he doesn’t have to pay that much for movers to get his stuff back to Ohio.

I meant it as: I didnt expect Notre Dame to can their defensive staff. The defense was good.

LSU getting swooped at the last second means they’re going to go all out for their next target.

We better get TRob inked on the dotted line before it’s too late.

It's a DB hire. Either you wrap that up in a day, or one of the two parties or both isn't all in. There's absolutely no reason for this to take any time unless 1 or both parties is hedging.
