COACHING TRAVELS 1-21-16

Either means the former player felt their college coach lied to them and doesn't want their former highschool coach to do the same or they feel Rumph lied to them and wants him to stop. Could be if he was turning kids away from Miami before the kid wants him to stay consistent even if he is a coach there?

Today is going to be a big day in the same Bruce saga. Looks like we sent the house to try and solidify him. Richt dugans and Hartley and has an in home tonight

Is absolutely the first scenario IMO

Start of a trend? Miami coaches broadcast their recruiting travel plans on Twitter

There’s a classic saying: Never let them see you sweat. Social media appears to have turned that on its head. Now, if you aren’t showing all your sweat in graphic detail, they may not believe you’re sweating at all.

How else to explain the latest efforts of the Miami football coaches on their recruiting journeys. In an act of radical transparency, the ‘Canes coaching staff tweeted out exactly where they were headed. Any amateur sleuths would have been able to put two and two together and figure out precisely who they were seeing.

Naturally, there are benefits to making a public show about where one’s coaching staff is spending its time, most of them related to the players receiving those visits themselves. On the one hand, a teenager may take particular pride in a nationally significant coach making it clear that he was prioritizing that recruit. After all, ego stroking is everything when you’re asking a teen to provide un or under-compensated labor for a minimum of three years. On the other hand, being transparent about being in one location makes it obvious that you aren’t in another, which could make other Miami prospects feel underappreciated.

Apparently that’s a risk Mark Richt and co. are willing to take, all in the name of a larger message that the new ‘Canes are focused on Florida first (note that all four Miami coaches were out visiting within the state of Florida) and bringing the Sunshine state’s top talent to South Florida. If they prove successful, we should all prepare for a slew of recruiting travel maps across social media in the months ahead.

Where'd you see he has an in-home tonight?

Brock said he saw that they rescheduled the one from last week to tonight. Not sure if it was legit. He posted it in the long Bruce thread I believe

The Liar Meyer is in town too...

Still on this "Liar Meyer" rhymey non-sense, eh?

Gibson says Hi btw... And that he is freezing his nutz off right now and that he'll never throw another TD pass again in his life... Anyways...

hes probably talking about Gibson. Nothing current or targets were after...stop looking too much into it.

I dont see the reason for Eubanks imo

This reminds me of footnotes, show your sources. The old staff would be frequently seen at the Golden Corral on the days leading up to NSD. Any player that called or text during these feeding sessions was no longer recruited.

We're always the first to do things....hopefully our new coaches are making that known. Truly, the U is the inventor of Swag...other schools are just trying to copy cat.
