Of course they are, but they’re not firing him after year 1...Maybe. Fanbase is irate.
Fixed*USC is a harder job than y’all think.Cost ofliving in LA makes it harder to get assistant coaches.
When you win at SC it is a Top 5 job. You have every single resource available, and you have a fertile local recruiting base. So Cal produces dozens of D1 players per year, and **** near ALL OF THEM dream of being Trojans. SC gets first dibs, and a decent coach can recruit **** near the entire state of CA and land most of their preferred targets. Imagine Miami, but with a significantly larger student body, a larger, more localized alumni base and a conference without Clemson or FSU in it. People aren't coming out in LA to watch a mediocre SC, so I'm not shocked that the attendance is in the toilet.View attachment 162052Hahahah “uSc iS a ToP 5 JoB”
Ehhhh yea… but if they ever get their head out of their azzes with even a consistent 9 or 10 win seasons you’ll stack all that cali talent that doesn’t want to cross the mountains and stay west….USC is a harder job than y’all think. Cost of living in LA makes it harder to get assistant coaches.
JC! Lawwwwwwwwd! I’m scared to deathThe better question is did Sarkisian ?
There will be several coaches drooling to get that cash, and have TVD as their QB for at least a couple years.Every year there will be open coaching jobs. Every year there will be competition. You don’t keep an incompetent coach because you are afraid to find a better coach. UM will have little to no trouble finding a coach who is a significant upgrade over Diaz. I don’t even think this will be difficult now that the school is intentionally telling the college football world that it intends to spend an extra 30 million a year for football.
