This is the one I was waiting on. This makes sense. He is 66 who only wants to be a HC at this point. He isn't getting another offer close to this level. What top level coach in college wants to walk into the worst mess in football? They have to have a coach today. Opt outs are going to start today without a move. Will this work? UM is in complete desperation to retain and the portal opening in 7 days. They are so far behind right now, it's really bad. Whittingham is just a place setter for a year or 2. Unless he kills it somehow and I like him. He is entering a complete **** show.
