So does Michigan have to pay a buyout. I know Whittingham retired but is this just away around it. If I am Utah I am definitely looking to get some money

you ppl living in nostalgia of the blue blood programs.....dont realize...

the only reason michigan won anything of note the last 30 years was when they were flat out cheating with Harbaugh...other tan that they couldnt wint he big 10 for **** near 20 years.

This hire is good to steady them for 3 years or so.

The Michigan hire kind of feels like Willingham did Utah dirty. Retire and then a few days later take the Michigan job… I’m pretty surprised to be honest with you.
Talk about destroying your legacy in one fell swoop.

Nah. Harbaugh is elite. That cheating stuff is pure BS. Cheating didn’t create an elite defense with no 5 stars under Harbaugh.

Yeah pretty sketch. Think he did it to protect his boy and coach-in-waiting Scalley, who was so bad to end the year he should sign up for the Manny Diaz "how to stop your opponent from rushing for 500 yards all the time" course. Utah gotta be ****ed that they're stuck with Scalley while Whittingham has leveled up

Looking around

It’s so hypocritical that Venables has allegedly been stealing signs for decades and he doesn’t get any criticism. That Michigan cheating stuff is fluff.
he aint never go as far as harbaugh n company did at michigan is why.

i hjave called clemson out on here for stealing signs.

All the non coaches in here thinking that you can't gain a significant advantage doing what they were doing. Lol
lol they were audibling into direct defenses to s top certain plays. literally.like what?.

if it didnt matter all that much they wouldnt have had that guy going to the extent he went to do what they did..dude was on the sidelines of games an sh*t.

Witthingham is a great coach and Jay hill is a **** of a DC. Michigan and Utah are built very similarly, and now he can upgrade his talent.

Utah might have 2 OT go in the 1st round this year. Think about that.
