Wow, going from Holy Cross to a Big10 program across the other side of country is crazy.
His record speaks for itself.
He can coach.
However, if I'm a UCLA fan I question (worry) if he has the resources and wherewithall to put together a strong on and off-field staff or, more broadly, structure.
Cignetti hailed from the same JMU, but he had worked many years at big programs.

Yup. Please get him the **** out of OSU before that Jeremiah Clone who's name I can't remember is a senior in HS in Florida

OS* will just find another coach with ties to soFla. I've been following recruiting since the 1970s and whilst that program doesn't get a lot of soFla talent, the few they do are very talented players like Neal Colzie, Keith Ferguson, Bryce Bishop, William Roberts, Bosa brothers, etc.

Likely, but nobody can be better than Hartline at scooping up elite WRs.

bryce Bishop, now that is a blast from the past. Was he in Vernon Carey's HS year?

I think Bishop may have been one or two classes prior. It's been awhile. He played for Sam Miller whose players never went to UM.

What a disaster at UK. Why'd they wait until the day after Sumrall is announced at UF to fire Stoops? If they had fired him a month ago, they might've gotten Sumrall.

It's a terrible job. So their options were always going to be limited. But Sumrall is an alumni with coaching experience at UK, who actually wanted that job.

I just hope they get Hartline for obvious reasons.

Gives you an idea of where corch performance based contracts are headed...
