SEC is a different animal
Considering the academic restrictions at ND and playing a independent/national schedule, I think @gacaneaddict is right. He'll have more talent at LSU than he ever had at ND. Brian Kelly has shown to make staff adjustments if needed. He'll have immense administration support at LSU to win.

I'm not a fan of Brian Kelly but there's no denying he's a good coach and wins. I'd be surprised if he didn't make the CFB playoff at least once at LSU.

Brian Kelly is a fantastic HC. If he can win at Notre Dame, he can absolutely win with more talent at LSU. Les Miles and Coach O won NC's at LSU, and Kelly is a much better HC than those guys.

Dude has won at every level, and he is 54-9 in the last 5 years.

.739 winning percentage at ND.

As someone else said, lsu is a different animal. He’s a great coach but I think he’s a bad fit. Yes, you can still be a good coach but be a bad fit and not succeed. Besides there are some early warning signs that he is making questionable decisions already
