Check it out; going to CSULB, they didn’t have much athletics besides their baseball team, women’s volley ball, and their cheerleading squad. Misty May is one of my closest friends & I talk to her uncle literally every other week. When I tell u they made sure all 3 of those programs were nationally relevant when I attended, it’s an understatement. Here’s the results of just what those programs did for my Alma Mater:

-The NBA used our facilities for their Summer Pro League for several seasons (revenue)
-Nationally Televised events led to bigger sponsorship money, and old money alum (looking at u Mr Spielberg) reached in their pockets to upgrade facilities
-Applications & Student Tuition increased, ESPECIALLY w/ Eva Longoria’s little bro (Evan) was on the squad.
-Sports facilities got a face lift, & the gymnasium became a national spectacle, in which one of the donors towards it, donated another $2.1m as it was used to host several events.

Those r just some of things that took place while I was there & I heard the campus has completely changed. At one point, the UC system took hella notice of Long Beach & they were going to join, but I can’t recall the specifics as to y it fell through.

Why is a guy going to a cushy NFL gig, where he doesn't have to work 24/7/365, want to go back to college?

The life of an NFL coach is supposedly harder - more hours at the office, dealing with adult men, only get 7 draft picks in theory vs 25 new freshmen, etc, etc.

To me, if you burn out twice in college, I don’t see how you don’t crash out of the NFL at some point one way or another.

I think he stays in NFL for at least 2 years & then we will see.

The nfl is all football , nothing else. Cfb is never ending. Recruiting year round , kissing kids and their families asses , doing pr work , sucking off boosters and having to jump when they say jump. Then you have to navigate the ncaa with cheating and not being sloppy. Lastly anything that happens in the program is your fault. So yeah , the nfl is way more “ cushy”. It’s football 247 with far less politics.

Next time we play “ watch” and see how the players who are “ not” the primary targets look and see IF they sell they’re route at full throttle as if there the primary target?

See if they need oxygen or ice packs for there effort and NOT getting the ball once .

I’d give game balls to players that sacrificed they play for others to succeed so we’d win.

Check it out and see if they jog or just trot they routes?

Matt Rhule has aged 5 years since taking the Panthers job.
 
Urban Meyer couldn't keep Tebow to have him pray for him so he definitely leaving. Saban coildnt cut it. They wanna be able to discipline people kids. NFL man tell you to f@k off and you can't do nothing.

Cause he has shown a level of accountability in his current role? Is he employed? Is he not employed? Is he in the building? Ed gets to come and go as he pleases in this role and no one has any idea as to what he has done for the last couple of years. Respect to #20 but no way you put that dude in a position to run your team until he at least gives a public view of what’s going on. I could t imagine being more frustrated with a situation if he were running things and there was ZERO information coming out.

He‘s coached one season and some change , I doubt he’s ages that much in a year. Most coaches say the nfl is easier on you because your whole life is coaching ball . College is alot more politics and bs that spreads you thin. It’s the never ending aspect. They’re two different worlds. The pros is hard because you’re coaching against the very best , players and coaches. But once again you’re worrying about football.
