There are a lot of opinions and self proclaimed "experts" on who the next head coach should be. We've been speculating for years on who should replace Golden as the next coach. One thing to keep in mind......picking the next coach is far from an exact science.
A few coaches names that have been thrown around as potential replacements over the past few years are:
Kliff Kingsbury (Pete's #1 man a couple years ago), Scott Frost (really struggling), Will Muschamp (not really a replacement option but was really hot AC a few years ago), George O'Leary (I lol'd every time I heard this idiots name mentioned), Mike Leach (mmmmmmk. Dudes a loser), Tommy Tuberville (OK), Curtis Johnson (about to get **** canned himself), Charlie Strong (not looking very hot), Dana Holgorsen (lost his luster), James Franklin (lost to Temple this year), Bob Stitt (he's lost 3 games already this year at Montana a perenial power in FCS).
These are just to name a few individuals that have lost the shine they once had. Could all of these coaches do better than Golden @ UM? Of course, but is that really the measuring stick we want to live up to?
I just think it's funny some of the dunces that get thrown out there to lead our storied program into the future. Let's not **** this one up......although it may not be as easy as it appears on the surface. I'm not holding my breath with this administration.
Feel free to add to the "NOT SO HOT ANYMORE" list below.
