He's being honest more porsters need to do this ****

Yup. I always disagreed with @Dwinstitles on this one, but also knew where he was coming from. End of day, stand up guy and just wants what's best.

Time is telling the tale and this season we will learn a lot. I still think Rumph can end up being a great recruiter as he develops a proven track record for developing kids and this program earns its respect back. You can fight bags at UM when you're in the title hunt. Nobody can beat bags going 7-6 every other year, it's just unrealistic to expect a kid to turn down money and a winning program and gamble their future just cause they knew this other dude longer and it's the home team.

Like Manny "The Savage" Diaz just said, "there's no hometown discounts."

We have to prove we can win before the elite recruits will start pouring in. But, start raising that level of expectations AND develop talent, they'll come.

Great post

Rumph has already developed guys....to me Mike Jackson was an amazing job no one expected him to do anything and the kid balled.

His pitch is great hes gotten better, he sells the U good. Its understandable when the herald said a Miami coach said other schools are cheating cause how can u not want to play at the U? especially if u from sfla
Pure throwing **** against the wall on my part but sometimes someone that bleeds the U isn’t necessarily a great recruiter for the U.

It’s tough to play the dirty game when you believe in something so passionately. Like why should I have to recruit someone to play here when I know it’s the best?

Like Ray Lewis mentioned before talking about coaching LBs. The difficulty of trying to teach something that just is engrained in you.

**** i did but thats more me being upset but .. I know he cant go up against bags its unrealistic to ask him or anyone too.

Bags and a .500 record. I don’t believe he’ll
Have issues once we are winning but if he does then that would be cause for concern. But even so, some kids are just bag chasers and we have to “respect” Their decision and say what was coach suppose to do?

remember when 90% of this board wanted him fired for missing campbell and surtain? despite him getting the absolute most out of every DB on our roster

lmao good times

Didn’t most of y’all won’t him replace..13 months ago
He was hated the moment he was hired. Couldn't recruit, no clue if he could coach, but probably not, actually steered recruits away, blah blah blah.
