Coach Richt Post-game... 'Most difficult situation in coaching tenure'

Since this seems out of the realm of your thought capacity, how many changes should butch have made in his third year genius! Also, if you were to rank the coaches in college football who have coached over 175 games, only a few have been better than coach richt, who is solidly over a 700% winning percentage! Coach richt knoww what he is doing.

Going to be forced to invoke Butch's law here.

Carry on.

When he loses to Florida next season to kick off the year and people REALLY start losing their ****......that's when he's going to experience the worst coaching stretch of his career.

If he thinks he can come down here, collect the type of salary he collects, and think people are going to treat him like a sacred cow....then his dementia is in a more advanced stage than even I imagined.

I see, you are such a jedi master that you have been able to see our defeat at the hands of the inbreds. It is one thing to hate mark richt and want him gone but to talk with such assurance that we lose to the turds. You ought to have your cane card pulled.

Just my opinion but I don't see any wholesale changes coming.
We've depended on freshmens at every position and Richt is convinced that execution is what's been missing.
Part of the reason I think Richt stuck with Rosier was because of how young most of the other pieces were.
Rosier, Cager, Langham, St. Louis, Gauthier were about the only returning players with multiple seasons of experience under their belt.
Think about how many prominent players are in their first or second year.
Going into 2019 we have:
-a promising QB entering his 3rd year
-several capable RBs
-an experienced WR unit
-3 TEs with a lot of experience
-several OL recruited by Searels who have been here for 2 or more seasons
-evidence that using 10 and 20 personnel is an option

Early remarks in the vid, says this stretch was the hardest of his coaching career... I mean I know they were dropping senseless games, but I think there is more to read into here. Just losing games isn't enough to cause that kinda statement. I believe there was a row in the locker room for sure, and I think Kosi playing definitely keeps them calmed down.

Unless you are named Mark Pope. Sheesh, his twitter is getting ugly. I reported that bum who keeps tweeting him bad ****.

Well, this is Richt admitting that he lost control and didn’t know what to do. He sounds embarrassed and confused as to how the **** it got to this point.

Hopefully he tosses that bull**** bravado aside and allows this experience to make him realize that he must adapt ASAP to modern day CFB or he’s going to be forced out.

Either retire and get the **** out of the way, or hire a good OC and get the **** out of his way.

I still like Richt as our OC I think he can kill it on the crooting trail and keep bringing boosters in... not to mention the biggest reason is we can hopefully run a dirt program with him as our face

But seriously he needs to hire an OC that comes from a spread background

Stop forcing these kids into something their not

While I agree, bowl season hurts in the short term in not being able to chit can Searles, and pick up an OC before the early signing period. 2019 class will be pathetic
What oc would you expect to hire before the early signing period? Somebody that just got fired? And hiring a oc has nothing to do with the bowl game

Nope, someone looking to move up to P5. Plus, we need to can Searles...get a true O Line coach in here asap. Bowl game just delays our efforts in terms of recruiting. Top echelon recruits are not signing with a school that has a crap O Line coach. Perfect example: look at Scott Frost. Nebraska was on him as soon as their season ended even though UCF was going bowling. They had him locked up behind the scenes in early December.

Heh, Rick better buckle up tight. This is just he beginning.

Doubt he changes anything in the offseason, and for that he will pay dearly.

Bobby Bowden says hello.....sometimes the game just passes you by.

I get and agree with what your saying. The early signing period you mentioned was kinda confusing. I would like a new oc and not some bum from Richts past and a new oline coach then I will worry about recruiting gotta get over the first hurdle

He's right though....They WILL beat us unless major changes are taken care of....Lol at pulling someone's Cane Card for speaking the truth...

Some of y'all have no clue what coach speak or hyperbole are.

Richt coached for 15 years in the rabid SEC, with that lunatic Georgia Bulldogs fan base. There's no way this run year three at a Miami program he's rebuilding was truly the "hardest" thing he's dealt with. Everything in life is relative—so what you're dealing with in the present always feels bigger than something you overcame in the past.

Fans need to stop dissecting the man's every word like a bunch of psychopaths.

He’ll give up play calling. I don’t think he can handle the stress next year, and he knows that.

Probably a bit extreme on my part, but what the ****. Now they are having a better season than us, but they are not some juggernaut that can't be beat. They have had a favorable home schedule this year, they too will begin to experience some depth issues with who they lose this year, and their recruiting has not been all that stellar the last few years either. I believe we can get our act together next year to beat them.

He needs to go. Whatever it takes. Pull an Urban and give him a negotiated buyout. This program is in a temporary coma until he's gone.
^^^^ this dude is so petty that when I didn't agree with his post he looked up my old posts just to neg... what a *****, looking up stuff from months ago lol.

Ehhh, this team isn't loaded with talent but it's certainly the most talented team in the Coastal. There's no excuses for loses to Virginia, Duke, BC and GT. Maybe the team comes out flat and you lose one of those games, I can forgive it. I wouldn't be happy but I'd understand.

The fact remains, there needs to be changes to the offensive staff or at the very least, philosophy this off season. If not, this team will continue to struggle against overmatched teams and 9 or 10 wins will be the absolute ceiling.
