Coach Richt Post-game... 'Most difficult situation in coaching tenure'

I’m hoping this was written with sarcasm because if not This might just be the stupidest post I’ve ever read or read part of since I’ve been on CIS.

Hope he keeps doing what he’s doing and hope no changes are made..

Are you FCKING NUTS!!!!

And the worst part is he had guys agreeing with him🤦‍♂️

Since this seems out of the realm of your thought capacity, how many changes should butch have made in his third year genius! Also, if you were to rank the coaches in college football who have coached over 175 games, only a few have been better than coach richt, who is solidly over a 700% winning percentage! Coach richt knoww what he is doing.

Two questions.

One...you do realize Butch made staff changes right?
He fired his DC and his SC coach and hired Schiano and Moffit.
Also had real issues to overcome not self inflicted issues like Richt.

Two...in his entire career as HC how many top 20 ranked offenses has Richt had?
I’ll give you a hint.....it’s one in 18 years

Canes fans are NOT rooting against "the program," and if you would try to think objectively you'd know that. It's a matter of whether you want to force the inevitable quickly (so you can get on the right path sooner) or let the misery linger while making excuses for mediocrity.

The “cane fan” that I was responding to was rooting against the program, said that he hoped no changes were made this offseason so that we didn’t have a good season next year in hopes that Richt would be fired..objectively speaking, that is not a cane fan in my book. Unfortunately he’s not the only one on here with that logic of thinking...

I do want the program to do well overall, regardless who the HC is, but I do wish him success too. I hope he can turn things around and hope he addresses some of the obvious issues on the offensive side that fall squarely on his shoulders during this off season.

Being bowl eligible is big to continue to get these young guys we will depend on next season more practices and game experience. I'd still like to see Jarren do his thing maybe splitting time in the bowl game with Perry and Weldon. Richt should continue to develop and evaluate at the qb position in live competition. Bowl game may be best time to do that because that game is essentially meaningless unless in the playoffs.

While I agree, bowl season hurts in the short term in not being able to chit can Searles, and pick up an OC before the early signing period. 2019 class will be pathetic

So he wants something to happen that would make it more likely Richt would be fired. Why do you think he wants Richt fired?

all this, right here

Top 20 talent based on what, and for your information, it doesnt matter how much talent you have, if its not matured talent within a scheme, you'll still lose. Its not about staying positive, its about being realistic. Most of the people on here seem clueless to the footballprogram they rooting for and just speak in hypotgeticals likje what you said, "its s third year" "its a team with so called top 20 talent" is our o-line a top 20 o-line, how about our punter, what about our qb play, those are the things that take time to rebuild, we not n reload mode, we in rebuild mode, keep that in mind, alot of young developing talent on this roster now, get backk with me next year!
Top 20 talent based on recruiting services, which happen to be very very accurate.

We don’t have a lot of developing talent. We have a lot of stunted, undeveloped talemt.

Those are all coaching issues. Everything u mention is coaching.

“it’s his 3rd year” “too 20 talent” are not hypotheticals. They are facts. They are reasons for this coach to have been able
To beat uva, gt duke, etc.

Oh and don’t expect a qb to somehow make Richts offense go... i assume u watched the Kaaya year. Accurate qb, same ****** O.

In all your excuse making, u seem to forget just how bad this coach is. He can’t beat uva with um talent. Or duke. Or .........

Richt has already failed here. He doesn’t have it in him to be a successful UM coach.

It’s amazing that Calvin thinks Richt being in his third year is a “hypothetical“

nevermind that this program hadnt won a bowl game in 10 years before Richt, and that ut had lost to its rival 7 straight years, we were loaded and on the cusp lol

We aren’t loaded. OL? CB? DT? LB? We think we are OK at WR TE and RB. Every other position group is a mess.

Richt is doing the bare minimium and will be lucky to win 7 in year 3. I hope he makes changes but let’s not pretend we have the second coming of saban on our hands.

So Al Golden left this roster so barren that it's acceptable in year 3 to lose to UVA, Duke, GT and Boston College all in a row? Our O-line is bad because Searels has never had a consistent OL anywhere during his coaching career. A lot of people were expecting a season similar to last years and that we had a couple of lucky bounces. Joel Klatt (FS1 football analyst) even predicted Miami would be good next year while tempering expectations last year, generally because of QB play.
No. Never once did I say or hint that it was acceptable. Truth about last year, we won turnover battles by huge margins. Was still not a efficient because of the QB and a above serviciable Oline on O but generated big plays. Had leaders at skill position groups. Had a serviciable veteran OL. Won a lot of close games..ppl thought 1 of 2 things would happen: 1, and I’m guilty of this, that 12 would show improvements, I was wrong. Or 2, was the most popular theory among most fans, that Perry would be a HUGE upgrade from 12. Early on he struggled. He has put together 2 solid performances tho. And to answer your opening question yes..this roster void of quality depth when MR took over

Richards had a hamstring injury that occurred in Fall camp and plagued him most of the year. Once this hamstring injury was past him, he then injured his knee.
True but still played in 7 games bro. Just his presence was a diff..7 gp, 24 catches. 19 per catch. 3 tubs. Even hobbled with a hammy with 12 at QB he’d make a diff on this O. And if he was healthy..

And if Ahmmon makes the difference between this offense being competent versus pedestrian, that's very telling.

Bruh..having a number 1 difference maker at WR makes a diff in any offense unless your running the triple O..every team in the top 10 has a playmaker or 2 or more on the outside

Bama- 3
Clem - 3
Nort- 1
Mich- power run game and Gentry
UGA- 4
OU- Hollywood

And it would help if we had a QB to get it too 4 lol

Sure, having Ahmmon helps. But our offense shouldn't be ranked in the 80's because he's no longer here. And QB development is supposed to be Richt's forte. Probably would help if Richt hired a qualified assistance. But I'm not going to keep beating that dead horse.
