He knows people come after successful coaches, and we have several of those on our staff. Coach Kool, Dugans, and Diaz will all be targetted by other staffs. If we can keep this staff together, we will do great things.

He also mentioned the continuity FSU had for 12 years, and that he felt he had that kind of staff now. I took that as meaning he has coaches that would like to stick around long term. However, you just never know what other offers will come in.

Richt looks like a man that is at peace with himself. That smirk he has had much of the season makes me feel like he knows just how good this program is going to be moving forward.

I have to think guys like dugans, brown, Rumph and Banda are all guys that can stay here for 5 years. The big wild cards are Kul, searles and Diaz.

Ah ya. That’s an understatement.

Since both of you are clearly deaf. Go rewatch Coach Richt's interview but this time put on the closed caption. The man clearly says that the reason he hasn't settled in on a 10th coach yet is because hes not sure who's leaving from the current UM staff so he may need to alter who he's hiring as a 10th coach and said he wants to wait until he sees how the other moves around college football in terms of staff's being put together at other schools.

For instance with Texas AM open and Ttech opening soon you don't think Banda would jump at the chance to go home an get a raise.

I took your advice and watched Richt interview again and didn’t come away with that impression at all. Sounded like you wait to see how things shake out every year. I didn’t take it like anyone was leaving or even thinking about it at this point. Appreciate all you bring to the board paranos. We are on the same side bro. I do think other schools will try and pull some of our coaches though. If you have a good staff it should happen every year. Hope everyone sticks. Also hope they all get nice raises they deserve it. Happy Thanksgiving to all the Cane fans on the board.
