Supposedly about his health. Hate to see it.
Are there rumors of him retiring due to health reasons?
Especially with his medical team being presentPurely a guess here, but with setting a press conference, you would expect something larger than normal. Perhaps something serious (amputation?) that would necessitate a long recovery and either a short-term or long-term postponement of coaching from the sidelines.
Diabetes is no joke. I found myself prediabetic last year and immediately had to make changes to my diet. All I drink is water now, and if I really need something sweet, I'll have one piece of 85% cacao dark chocolate. I went from 270 to 205, I still need to get down to 175-180 (I'm 5'10.) I know people that have lost fingers, toes, feet and have even died from diabetic complications.
Hopefully it's not serious to the point that he'll never be able to coach again.

From everything I've seen, Deion has never been formally medically diagnosed as a diabetic. His daughter has.Diabetes is no joke. Saw one report saying he made out a Will last May.apparently this is to address his general health as it was rumored that he was ill a month or so ago but everyone declined to talk about it.
Health wise I hope he gets better. The Buffs are rockin the #80 ranked class in the country.
I guess that Louis is made in China afterall.....
Unfortunately I fear he may be dealing with something more serious than his circulation (which is serious enough) because he’s been away from the team getting medical care a few times these last 6 months. I believe he even missed their spring game while getting care.apparently this is to address his general health as it was rumored that he was ill a month or so ago but everyone declined to talk about it.
Yeah they said he made this will with the expectation that he may only live a few more months.Saw one report saying he made out a Will last May.
Take care of yourself man. I’ve dealt with some similar stuff and have APS. Every day you wake up is a good day.As with all the Noles, never rooted for them regardless if they were playing and coaching, but this is bigger than football, so hoping for the best regarding his health. I've had my share of vascular issues with DVT, and it's scary stuff. Best of luck to Mr Sanders.
