Coach Les Miles in trouble ...

A hot gal with little or no clothes on says take me now I gotta tell you CFL may call me a pervert. I think at work I would be good but getting drinks afterward yeah not so much. Maybe if she was 19 or 20 no but once she hits 21 maybe I am not a pervert any longer?

I have a mind of my own and my will power is second to none...The fact I am ugly has also helped me survive.

According to reports, Les Miles was harassing several young LSU coeds who worked for him. Miles basically said that he would only hire young, blond and fit girls (Not like his wife at all). The LSU president was going to fire him in 2013, until they realized he had a $15 million buyout. LSU players were also abusing coeds, but the coaches and administration didn’t do anything to stop it. The allegations are not good for college football. Aside from facing lawsuits, the NCAA might actually consider sanctions against an SEC team

The NCAA sanctioned Ped State when it involved male-on-male behavior.

It could happen to LSU.

Th issue isn’t that he’s trying to hit on 19 year old girls. It's that he's hitting on 19 year old girls at his place of employment. To the guys defending him, would you be ok if your 18 year old daughter started dating her high school teacher? I mean, if he waited until her 18th birthday, what’s illegal about that?
IF anyone thinks 18 year olds can't make up their own mind, Change the law.AND prohibit them from voting. You're an adult capable of making adult decisions, or you're not.

**** shaming is a no-no.

Horny man shaming should also be a no-no.

However, violating your employers code of conduct IS A FIRING OFFENSE.

just curious, these college educated coed's were completely dupe. Can somebody tell me is this work voluntary or do they get paid.
Hey genius who do you think has authority to bump someone from a volunteer to a paid position............say....for a favor.

That’s not really the point. That statement is spot-on. If there were flaws in the original investigation, then you have to do the work to prove it. Failing to even interview the guy at the center of it is weak. (Now if they tried and he refused, different story.) But the reality is the new story is a reaction to external pressure and a cheap slinging of tar on people associated with the past. And it’s not just about Miles or the football team at this point. He’s a convenient fall guy.

Just as i said. Everything hidden behind a wall of Lawyers and lies a plenty in the hiring process. I'm sure some light digging will reveal the same in the investigative process.

Kansas athletic director Jeff Long said he pointedly asked his longtime friend, Les Miles, during the hiring process to be next football coach of the Jayhawks whether there was anything in his background that could potentially embarrass the university.

Miles, according to Long, replied, “No.”

Long said a series of background checks took place before the Jayhawks hired Miles in 2018, and that nobody within the LSU athletic department raised any red flags.

When Kansas officials learned of a legal dispute that was settled out of court, Long said the school “requested copies of any and all reported related to Miles when he was at LSU.”

“We were given a variety of reasons from Miles’ legal counsel why that would not be provided to us,” Long said.

It's a sewer ...

Hidden behind walls of lawyers? No competent lawyer would permit Miles to share a settlement agreement of that sort.

The bottom line is Kansas is caving to the mob.

That's the thing about private internal investigations by third party law firms...they're nearly impossible to audit by design and in fact they help bury evidence further by putting them behind a wall of attorney client privilege. Interestingly enough he settled for 5 million less than he was owed on the way out.....i wonder what that kind of discount was in exchange for......hmmmm.

Pretty odd an SEC HC takes a pay cut on a buyout then goes jobless for 2 years. Looks like a duck, quakes like a duck, walks like a duck.

You can say all that, but it doesn’t mean anything w/r/t Kansas. It’s pure conjecture and innuendo. The reality is people settle for all sorts of reasons, including time, risk, litigation cost and preference to move on in life. Heck, sometimes they settle for ‘less’ because they grossed up their ask in the first place. It’s wildly unfair to say he was guilty of something because he settled for less than his maximum ask.

Its perfectly fair. Settlements and NDAs dont preclude you from scrutiny. You cant buy your way out of that. You could prove your innocence but he chose the settlement and silence.

That’s a silly retort. That’s not how people make rational decisions in the commercial world. The settlement agreement is private, in any case. His ‘innocence’ is preserved because no one has proven anything to undermine it. That’s what innocent until prove guilty means.

Moreover Kansas had and has no basis to get out of its agreement to Miles. They’re simply panicking over association with a victim of the leftist woke mob squad. Shame on them.

This is the correct issue and why it is a fireable offense and sexual harassment. Age isn’t the issue, position is. Miles can hit on any woman of consenting age that he wants but when he does it to a co-worker, he holds a position of authority and the co-worker can feel pressure to acquiesce to keep her job or receive a promotion/raise.

Consider this example. A college professor can date A college student as they are both of consenting age (16). But the college professor can’t date a student in his/her class because the professor can impact grades. its not the age its the position.

You hit the nail on the head.

His innocence was preserved because nobody from outside the school can scrutinize the findings or investigation. Thats an invitation for the mob to demand transparency or heads. And the schools will offer up heads before they ever become transparent. The cycle continues.
