Thank God that Barry Odom must be a moron.

I don't think Odom had much of a choice as Coach Kool wanted the DC job after 2014 season.
No room for both guys in one program, and Odom was appointed HC so Kool had to leave.
Good for us!

I think we may something similar at VT with Bud Foster and the new staff brought in by
Fuente, as the new HC brought in his own DC from Memphis.
We shall see.

That's true but I think when you have the top guy coaching up what is one of the most important facets of today's college game then you find a way to keep him and make it work. Their loss is our gain regardless! It will be interesting to watch the increase rate in quality of our D-Line play mirror the rate of decline in Mizzou's. That whole program is screwed now as Pinkel was a helluva coach as well that did more with less than he got credit for nationally.
