That is what an AD is supposed to do right now.I asked you to STOP being emotional lol
If the structure allows for Alonzo to be the sole decision maker for our program, goodluck finding a coach who will work under those conditions. Again, who wants to be a HC at a program where one guys sole responsibility is to look over your shoulder ?
Highsmith or whomever is the Football AD would be hiring/firing the HC so I kind of think they would be on same page.Imagine this scenario plays out, and our next HC has his own vision for the type of recruit, S&C coach, etc (decisions a HC makes at every other school). Why let someone 'buy the groceries' ?
So you have no idea WTF the Football AD position is but you think its necessary to comment. Got it.Buddy, if you don't know how the structure of the program works with a Football AD please just don't comment. Like I said earlier, I like the idea, in theory. But practically, if Zo has the responsibilities you speak of, there aren't many GOOD coaches who will want to work under those conditions at a school like this. No way!
I guess the NFL has trouble finding coaches where their boss' (President and/or GM). You have to be kidding yourself if you don't think 99% of all coaches in the world (excluding basically NFL coaches and probably 15 D1 coaches) wouldn't love an opportunity to bring Miami back.
This is just dumb but is par for the course for what you've been posting. But, if Zo's responsibilities was just to advance the program through increasing donations, recruiting NIL partners, and maintaining positive relationships within the BOT/Admin so we can continue to expect real support from our BOT/Admin, then I'm all for it.
Repeating the same stupid comments over and over again doesn't make them true. There would be PLENTY of coaches that would RATHER have a true football man as AD.There's no way you'll find a coach to work under a guy who has his own ideas about how to run a program.
No more responses from me.
