Hope your right and hope Seider's name is in there somewhere. Need him coaching RBs and recruiting SFla. Please
 
I think one of the problems could be all the job openings.

If we are really after a high profile OC they might want to wait and see some dominos fall before committing. The USC OC spot is open all of a sudden, Georgia is looking for an OC, jobs still open in the NFL, Temple still open.

Unfortunately, our program isn't where Bama, Clemson, Georgia is. We had one of the worst offenses in CFB. There is no clear frontrunner at QB... all these things might give a coach something to think about, as these high profile coaches just want the OC position as a stepping stone and don;t want to be around for 3-4 years.

You are just completely speculating that's what announcing an OC in the same time frame announcing a DC would have done. Did we overpay for DC, because that guys already hired? Why do so many of you have sunshine pump everything?
 
Why are we judging him on pass coaches? He got the job. We didn’t like how the AD handled the search but that’s not his fault. We didn’t want the Defense staff touched and Richt promoted everyone to keep them, we *****ed. Manny comes in and says that’s not going to work and hires a guy who runs his style and we ***** cause it’s a small name guy. We want all the OC ever and we hear different rumors and some jump for joy and others kicker their dog. No one knows who is the OC or any coach on O at the moment, yet people are yelling to fly a banner. All we know he has his guy that guys paperwork is dried and has told Manny who wants to target for recruits. Manny seems to want every detail in place before he announces anything. We could be held up by a TE coach or another position coach. Give the man the benefit for now. Problem is we need to be the first. First to say it’s not going to work, first to say he sucks.

Can we talk to recruits? Can we run practices? At this moment is there anything that really can be done? No, no and no.
Do you know the contracts? I don’t. Lot of you remind me of that girl in Willy Wonka I want it now no matter the outcome. All I said was give him the benefit of doubt and let’s see what he comes up with. Could you imagine if all these rumors are a cover for Yost or Canada? Board would explode with Rainbows and tears of joy.

This needs to get done.

It’s also weird hearing speculation about him wanting to name the entire offensive staff at once as if they’re all going to come out from behind a dropped curtain holding hands and taking a bow in front of a raucous crowd. If he cared about announcing all the hires at once why did Feely and Baker trickle out one by one?

Starting to think Manny is getting stiffarmed by every candidate.

Exactly, no offense to Manny, but I have no confidence in this program's ability to do anything right at this point. The program has been mismanaged and made irrelevant over the last 15+ years. They need to show me something before I believe they have us headed in the right direction again.

With Kirby being a defensive guy and former DB coach, I am not sure that is a huge deal as far as recruiting goes. Also, money.
