IF Manny follows through with what he implied yesterday - bringing only the guys who truly WANT to be at the bowl game- I think we'll see a different result.

Of course he does. Gives Manny one more poor defensive performance to blame on Baker--even though Manny himself admits that he himself is intimately involved with the defense--before dropping the ax on Baker first week of January.

Does Baker coach in the Bowl Game?

According to his interview w/ the Herald, he waits to make any staff changes until the offseason, which is foolishness, but that's what he did last year, and that's what he's doing this year.

FWIW, I listened to Manny Navarro's podcast today. He had his buddy Kelvin Harris on. The two of them talked about possible end of season changes. Harris thinks that Banda and Patke are more likely to leave than Baker. They felt Manny wouldn't "fire" them so much as encourage them to look elsewhere. The reason for their thinking was the fact that Manny brought Baker in over them last year, despite the two of them being in his system already and having the title of "co DC" that Richt gave them. Both have aspirations of more so it makes sense to look somewhere else. I wouldn't be surprised if Manny helped them secure another spot.

Just their thoughts. will be interesting for sure to see what, if anything, happens.
