When I saw banda praising jamal carter i knew he was clueless.

When i saw diaz praise shaq , I knew he was clueless. (FYI zach reshirted because coaches play shaq for no reason - Politics , they know zach is better in the inside and they are ******** him #facts)

The only reason we have good talent is because we are the U--- cant get elite players when your coaches can get your players to be elite ---

I do not question Manny on D, but I do question his crappy D coaches he’s put together and his coaching awareness to allow those clowns to ruin the one sure thing he brings to the table

I sure as **** question him on D. He coach one top ten defense in his career and it was against the sorry *** coastal, and when he faced elite offenses he got consistently destroyed. People just fell for his dumb chain shtick and the fact that he wasn’t dorito. Guy is a solid at best DC.

Listen we can all hate on Manny as I continue to do but a lot more stats other than D ranking that shows Manny has been successful. D has been an anchor for this team since he’s gotten here. We continued to lead in sacks, TO or tackles for loss all those years. I question is hiring skills but not him as a DC. This same coastal has produced NFL caliber starters so don’t down play the talent based upon the full teams performances in the Coastal

His career resume is that of a mediocre journeyman who has had some success, some failure, with rare moments of near elite defenses. The problem is our fan base and thus admin overrated him MASSIVELY and crowned him some sort of coaching god and that’s why he was given this job.

When you say **** like “well we led in sacks and TFL In 2017!” u are contributing to the false assessment of a coach whose career wasn’t even close to what Randy Shannon or Larry Cokers were before they were foolishly hired.

Show us evidence with a time stamp that supports your claims of past comments...all the "I told you so" homers are getting old, my man...

Sorry I disagree strongly, all coaches except for maybe a couple are journeymen as they work there way up to positions they want.

I’m going to stop discussing because I dislikes your Defensive takes so much I’m complimenting Manny and I really don’t want to do that. I’m going to go back and 💩 on him as a HC

I’ve seen too many below average QB’s have career days against Miami. His D isn’t good. I don’t care what stats you regurgitate. I trust my eyes.

Problem is that Manny no longer is a DC, he is the Head Corch...it matters not what he did as DC, holds no weight in the present.

All I’m saying is this false premise that he was some elite DC is why we are where we are.

The below average QBs part is true but the overall statement the way football is now D are at a disadvantage and we have been very well with him as DC.

As HC he sucks so far

I think he was Top 5 DC in country with what we allow him to have personnel wise. We can’t get the talent SeC big boys get throughout the roster. We are here because the Rest of our O was so bad it did make the D look elite elite and we have idiots making quick decisions and poor ones.

Mannys D aren’t anything like 2001 D or top 25 D of all time but for this era they a very very good

Miami 2017: 28th in scoring D, and 39th in total D.

Miami 2018: 18th in scoring D, 4th in total D.

His tenure at Texas was abysmal and MSU was solid but nothing exceptional. I’m sorry but this isn’t the resume of a man you hire to be HC bc the truth is his defenses weren’t that good.

By comparison, Shannon had a top ten defense in every season but one as DC, and he ALSO didn’t deserve the gig.

Lmfao at him being even close to a top 5 DC. He averages in the 20s at Miami alone, which was his best stint ever as DC.

You are a ******* CASE STUDY in why Miami hired him. So thanks a lot!

He got promoted at Texas mid season and didn’t have any say so on what they wanted to run. That whole situation was a **** show. And even if he is to blame he proved he could adapt and got much better here. Those D stats you posted looked pretty **** solid to me

LMFAO wtf are you talking about? He was hired in the offseason and instantly laid and egg at UT.

Yes they are pretty solid. That’s the point. That’s all they are. But he was treated like he was elite, and wildly overrated by this fan base and as a result the BOT.

Those are very solid respectable stats. And if those were the stats of our DC from 1983-1994 or 2000-2005 we’d be furious bc they aren’t the Miami standard. But he was treated like he’s **** Lebeau. And THAT is why he got hired, bc people like you think what you saw on defense was elite when it was merely “very good”.

Listen I kind of think we agree with the majority of discussion, let’s agree BOTS are dumbasses and D was very good. He brought back a aggressive D we sorely missed and I hoped that’s what he would do on O and be made the wrong hires in year 1
