CMR's halftime response to Maria Taylor

Anyone else notice and like CMR's response as the first half of ND ended and sideline reporter Maria Taylor asked/commented:

"What about your offense, you had to settle for two field goals"

And CMR cut in with "That's all right, we put points on the board, that's good" and then with a wise-*** grin added "We got two touchdowns too - did you forget those?".

Too bad he couldn't biaatch slap her too - for throwing that shade on the butt kicking in progress with that comment.

Dude is loving every min of it.

I'm thinking more about the speeches he said happened at halftime in the locker room. How all he had to do was pray over the team bc the seniors stepped up and did all of the talking.

That's the kind of leadership championships are built on.

Also, Maria Taylor can get it.
 
I loved the pregame interview she did with Richt before Virginia Tech when he pointed out that she was wearing all black and commented "Good Job".
 
They go back to her days at UGA. I saw her and Mark's wife hug on the sideline prior to the Virginia Tech game.
 
Definitely love his personality, ****y, but not offensive and a sense of humor. He gives me the impression he knows they're good, but won't come out and say it.

Looking very, very far ahead how satisfying would it be for him personally if we could win it all this year.

Agree. Last week against VT, to paraphrase, she asked him if the Canes were ready for the game, he shot back at her “Looks like you’re ready, all dressed in black.” She was wearing a sleeveless black dress, I believe. Say all you want, he’s witty and extremely laidback, but has a fire lit under his players’ butts.
 
Maria Taylor can get it. I think Pinckney had some hopes if you look at the interview she did with him.
