just saw his newest interview today where the reported asked how the WR group is seperating themselves other then coley

said the most ready to play everydown is Braxton,. then mentioned Malcolm Lewis and said he sees him making a push to being a very realiable WR. then mentioned langham and cager and said they have ability but still developing. said they're still learning and they need to learn how to play big and ot their size. said they're 6'5 yet play like they're 6'0.

sounds to me those 2 freshman WR Samberghini and Richards have a chance at serious playing time.

And if Cager and Langham don't get it together, the Harris kid (Ole Miss transfer) may snag the role of "tall WR" for this offense.

Don't forget about Dionte Mullins either. I have a feeling our WR corps and LB corps are gonna be young and talented. Sam Bruce is coming for Braxton and Malcolms' slot!

I was thinking, they have Mullins, Bruce, and Richards coming in with speed. Harris is more of a possession guy, but with the other three, they should be able to contribute.

Just who is Samberghini, don't remember that name as a WR.

in fairness to cager and langham, he also said that it's not that they are playing bad, they are just not what he sees them becoming

"Making a push to be a very reliable player" means "he's been here a long time and can plays a few snaps here and there".

Langham and Cager need to step up

I think he is referring to Sam Bruce comparing him to a Lamborghini.

We have depth of talent concerns at WR and CB at the University of Miami.

Thanks, Gorlden.

That's what happens when you lose 2 senior starters and have a class of 4 receivers coming in.

Nope. That is what happens when are fat and slow and hate speed guys. You can throw a rock from the campus in about any direction and hit a speedy talented skill player on just about every field there is. It took true effort on Al parts to be devoid of speedy talented skill players. It is like going to MIT and finding a bunch of guys with pocket protectors who can't add -- how is the world does that happen.

What is worse....what we have now or playing the punter at WR. The last 10+ years, the coaching has sucked.

You can win alot of games with ONE elite WR.

Al Golden wanted you to believe he could not win because he needed 5 elite WR's.
