I hope you are right, I'm always a little nervous until the game is at hand when playing any rival.

Heres the reality of this game..If we lose..we have the same record as FSU....4-2...You can slice it anyway you want but we wouldn't be any better then them... So all that "They suck. They are a joke. Turnover backpack is lame!. Taggert is Golden 2.0. Nole Tears!" stuff goes out the window. We would have no bragging right over them for the rest of the season. Let that sink in...

So this is DEFINITELY more then just any other game!

Talked about the OL. Boulware is getting reps at both guard positions and Scaife at both Tackle positions, Both getting experience, but more importantly he said that he wants the players to know that someone else is working hard and ready to take their positions. So unless they play well they will be replaced.

I know he's been coaching in his life now for more than half of the time he's been on the planet and yes, he's a "good" coach, which is why we hired him, but maybe (and this may be sky club vodka talking) just maybe he's ready to turn the corner and become a championship coach. I still hold hope that he is another Tom Osbourne, winning NC's at the end of his career after having a solid, but not spectacular career prior.

To say if we lose we would have no bragging rights over them for the rest of the season is redundant dont you think??

The Fact is there is a 0% chance we lose to FSU this week and a 100% chance FSU gets blown out.

I agree. My only point was that is why I am glad he is not calling this "just another game". He knows whats at stake and isn't going to BS the media or the fan base.
 
I know that this is a rivalry game, and most would be crazy to expect a blowout either way....call me crazy then because we're going to beat their ***

It may not apply to everything he does (injuries), but I love Richt’s transparency and honest criticism of himself when it comes to strategizing/play-calling.

Shows confidence and he knows there’s always room for improvement.

BS, this is the biggest game of the year in terms of pride. It's important for recruiting but don't get it twisted, we are playing for bragging rights.

I get the sense from interviews that Miami is overly confident. I seriously hope it’s not the case. Would be a disaster. This is fsu’s Super bowl, they have a chip on their shoulder, just pulled out a game. Have to be able to match their intensity and hunger level. That’s on team leadership and staff.

Need to finally make the move of pushing Donaldson back to guard and Scaife next to him at RT. Coaches have said it's all about starting the best 5...That combo could do some serious damage on the right side of the line in the rushing game.
