We literally are 11 pts from being 7-1. We are also a few adjustments away from being 8-0, which is on the coach. I am not giving him a pass BUT I would like to see how he does with a full recruiting class (which looks like it's going to be a big one) under his belt. Hopefully we can get a bunch of elite OL as EEs. We/His system desperately need this to happen.

We would be 1-7, if we did not play those 3 high school teams to start the season. This guy should be ashamed.
 
I've been hard on Coach, but he's not lying.

V Tech was the only game where we were never really in it.

The refs at FSU, including a TD called back.
The phantom TD at UNC.
Missed fumble scoop at ND.

Problem is, none of those games should Be been close to begin with, and they only were because of Richts Offense .

There is plenty that can be put on CMR but those calls or bounces go our way and this team is 7-1 and we would be talking about how he is the best hire and we are on our way to an NC next year.

Yeah...but if the offense was just as bad as it was last year this team could be 7-1 too. Instead somehow this offense is worse.

If you don't see absolute ineptness in offense and results of nepotism... you are blind with homerism

We will not make it to the elite with Richt as OC. He looks ready to hang it up and go to a retirement home

You can easily look at it the other way too: we are two defensive TDs against GT away from being 0-5 in games against teams with a pulse (and ND barely has a pulse). I understand that CMR doesn't want the team to completely quit so he has to talk about how close they've been to winning. But this has been, by any reasonable benchmark, a complete failure of a season. Same old same old.

We're actually 1-4. And we're 2 defensive plays away from being 0-5.

look at the upperclasses and we lost QUAN and grace so they dont even count. who expects to win folden crooting these kids with purdue UCF and temple offers.
 
Dabo went 6-7 in his 2nd season at Clemson. Of the 7 losses, 6 of them were by 7 or less.

You can see that trend with us this year. 4-4, but 3 of the 4 losses were by 7 or less.

2018 is where we should be making a legit run at the coastal and ACCCG.
