Meh....kid orchestrated an armed robbery and skated on charges out of pure luck....fact is he led two armed into an apartment and an armed robbery ensued. The other people with him are still awaiting trial. He just happend to be the innocent thirrd party lol....not buying it.
.if thats what happened how did he skate?anybody got a link?
He skated because the prosecutor is going after the guy who had the weapon, happens all the time because the justice system doesn't go after accomplices as hard when nobody of value is actually hurt, or when an accomplice doesn't have a rap sheet to begin with. Could've gone either way which is why i said he's lucky.
Ex-Florida Gator J.C. Jackson found not guilty in robbery case
Police said Jackson led two men, one of them carrying a gun, into a Gainesville apartment. The two men robbed everyone inside, taking two video game systems and $382 in cash.
Assistant State Attorney Adam Urra said in closing arguments that Jackson's participation warranted a guilty verdict.
"J.C. Jackson had a big role -- get everyone in," Urra said. "It was a single-minded, single purpose of his."
Brown said in his closing arguments that a crime would have happened whether Jackson was at the apartment or not. He called the evidence against Jackson circumstantial and prosecution witnesses unreliable.
