Just named a finalist for the Mackey Award, along with O'Leary and Max Williams from Minnesota. I think he's proved himself to be the best TE in college, but I'm biased.

Miami will have:

- A Mackey Award Finalist
- A Butkus Award Finalist
- The ACC's Top-Rated Passer
- A Runningback That's 7th In The Country In Total Offense

And a 6-5 record.

I remember being so frustrated with his play during his first two years, he seemed so tentative when he first got here (could be attributed to the transition from primarily a basketball player).

His development has truly been one of the bright spots of the program the past couple of years. It's nice to him getting national recognition for his play.

Crazy thing about this is that Shannon never produced anything close to this and was canned and rightfully so but we got dudes on here saying Golden needs more time. Dude has All-American and all conference players yet he still can't get it done.
