Well, I like Clint’s recruiting back in the day, he’s not a defensive coordinator. We need a guy who is a certified established defensive coordinator from a high-level program or the NFL. Not an up-and-coming anymore.

He was DC for Pete Carroll for 2 years.

Iono bout that, heard he was the one who was calling all those stunts, so IMO, it was sabotage on both parties of this defense, they both gotta go, no one is above this 🙌🏿 and I think we all forget that sometimes.

JT was not calling stunts. Please Where did you hear that. There are trusted posters on here who mentioned JT was not happy with Guirdy.

IMO JT isn't going anywhere.

Not only did they regress but his unit in particular got exposed by GT and was likely the reason we lost

He was a terrible defensive coordinator in the NFL. Like, garbage. There's no need to pick anyone up and give him coordinating duties if he hasn't demonstrated an ability to have his group perform well.

If I had one cent for everytime a porster on this board call for Clint Hurtt to get this job I’d have the money to buy-out Wario contract.

Not saying he is bad, I’m not qualified enough to judge, I’m just curious about this yearly trend.

Thank you for the response. I didn't watch a ton of Seattle games but typically Pete Carroll defenses are good. Appreciate it

He is coaching a very productive DL of young players on the number 1 defense in the NFL and learning under Vic Fangio. Funny how Fangio is more likable for players once they can produce. I am a 70 years Eagle fan so I share the fears of others

"Trusted" is relative.

If they are a friend of Mario, a high school football coach who loves access or a biased informant, than nah I will take their versions with a grain of salt.

The list of "trusted" morphs, too --- like we have some that are ****ed right now, so they are spitting truths like they are wrapped in Wonder Woman's lasso ...
