He was noticeably mediocre when Flagg tackles him when he pulled the ball to play hero vs us, when he could have handed it off for the win.

He's a choke artist, his arm is slightly above average, mobility is too, but above the shoulders he's awful. Classic case of measurables don't mean excellence.
 
Dabo is the kind of dude who says leave certain topics out of sports but loves to yap on about religion. Bro man just want to win football games. Address that, u having sunday service at the facility should be private matters and is only infuriating when u losing.

They’re not using the transfer portal and other teams are. When everyone was using HS players exclusively it was all relative, but now teams can paper over misfires with particular recruits with transfers. Clemson refused to utilize this, and thus was reliant on having minimal to no misses in high school recruiting.
 
It’s not just the portal. When his staff turned over, he completely failed replacing them. The HS evaluations have gone to ****. They have a few really good players at the top but the rest of the roster is very mid.

Look at the recruiting class he just signed. It sucks. His recruiting misses are just exacerbated by not using portal either. Team just isn’t very talented and isn’t well coached either.

its really staff...he just keeps having guys that he coached prior on staff at every position almost like a cult and with yes men. there will be like one or twoo guys not ffrm his tree..but out of stff of 50...45 of those guys likely played for dabo or connected to clemson strictly. He doesnt even care if they have coaching experience either. lol

They will likely be forced to play some in the portal this year cause unlikely typically guys may transfer out...he doesnt use the portal because clemson typicaly only has one or two guys transfer out.

Guy has self importance.

He was laying the Saban game where, I'll hire within and promote, but he didn't have his cupboards full of stud coaches.

His OC and DC were strong as well as his DL coach.
Venables left for Okie and Elliot for UVA, plus Venables grabbed his DL coach and their succesful in their own right, so it wasn't his "infrastructure" or him, it was his lightning in a bottle QBs and coordinators carrying the flag.

Remember when Clemsoning used to be a 9-3 or 10-2 season? Now it'll be worse and he's leaving the program for whoever in bad shape.

Why in the world would anyone think a late December bowl game in New York City is a good idea? New York isn’t even a college football town. And based on the Jets and the Giants performance this year, maybe not even an NFL. #sarcasm

These are the bowl games that need to be dropped from existence or moved to the beginning of the following season. As some college football pundints have suggested.

I wouldn’t think twice of opting out of that game.

They was hitting on qbs for a long time i wouldnt call it lightning in a bottle. They were hitting on qbs since Whitehurst.

I agree with everything else.

Also how or why other than ****iness, arrogance, lack of portal did clemson have a converted wr as their rb in Randall as their starter he last two...tehy cant run the ball.

At qb they are gonna have to hope one of them hits and Tait Reynolds is good int his class...look at who they signed at qb in 2025..

They have continued to recruit the trenches pretty goodf so i dont expect a huge fall off but their skills the last two years to me leave alot to be desired...and their suposed juggernaut dl seemed to be guys that listened to press clippings n sort of mailed it in. tHEIR BEST DL TO ME ENDED UP BEING FROM THE TRANSFER PORTAL.

Yeah….. if I was an AD, and had a coach that just finished a season and said that ****…. I’d be calling him in on Monday to discuss his exit strategy. Whether this year or the next, I’d have to get some concrete answers…. because can’t go on like this.
