I always love when someone who has never been in a position to make a commitment to a college says what they would have done in that hypothetical situation that their 5’6” self will never live.
And then you add NIL to it?
Literally none of us can say what we would do as an 18 year with the type of factors in play today.

When I was 18 , enough money = $$ to go out that weekend.
Not so sure most of these kids are thinking about money unless the parents are opening their eyes about the reality of life after college.

But to be fair to the parents, one year of NIL is more money than most people make in a year of their lives.
My nephew was paid hundreds of thousands to play basketball for one year at a university that you and I both love. It can be a very big deal. He now plays in Europe and makes less than he made at U of ??

Dabo is one of the biggest slime balls in sports. What makes it worse is he has a holy roller, I’m above the fray air about him.
Think I’ve told this story before on here can’t remember. At one point my son was a pretty high level baseball recruit. Anyway, he camped at Clemson one year and we got to meet Dabo in passing at their athletic facility. He gave off the grossest, Joel Osteen fake MFker vibe I’ve ever seen out of a coach. Was not a fan.

This is true. For years i always checked their recruiting with them being the acc top dawg. For whatever reason Clemson board is usually small as ****. Like they are stingy with offers and goes after certain types. Thats good when your winning and paying elite dts,wrs and qbs to come and saving everywhere else. Not good when your big pay evals fell off because you only hire guys you coached at clemson to be on staff and those guys dont hit.
This sh*t like a lil cultish..... just click the link...and it looks like those churches that are a lil edgy, but have drama and the pastor passed around collection 4 or 5 times in a service and also has a cash app or zelle link for the folks who aint have cash.
