Tears Clemson Tears

I just took it as he isnt as plugged into recruiting .

Clemson never was BIG in south florida at all. Which is why i SAID it would be good for him to stay at clemson.

BAMA 100% would recruit head up with us more than Clemson especially in south florida. In this class ALONE dabo has taken 4 from us and 1 a **** cane legacy at that. lol

@caneingville The Sammy Watkins days consisted of JUST HIM...who is from Fort Myers though i still consider that area south florida though technically its sw fla. DABO always been selective where he dropped bags in florida....if he was at BAMA with it being a neighboring state their bags would be flowing even more so down here. Since Bama has more links/connectins in this state than clemson does.
Didn’t he gets some wr and dbs out of south Florida . I remember losing them him under golden Mackensie Alexander?

No, the Sammy Watkins days did not consist of just him. Also, who cares that he is from Ft. Myers? We recruit all over Florida, not just the Tri-County area. CJ Spiller was from up near Gainesville.

But you keep contradicting yourself, so it’s really hard to understand your point because you keep moving the goalposts.

Either way, I’m not worried at all about our recruiting. We are doing just fine - better than fine now that NIL is here. And as the conversation was about whether or not Dabo would succeed at Bama, whether or not Dabo is at Bama is not going to change our position. We are doing just fine and getting stronger every year. If you’re going to cry Chicken Little because we don’t get every single recruit, then that’s ridiculous, because no school can get every recruit. You can’t sign every recruit because of numbers anyway. And not every kid will be a good fit.

The last thing I will say on this…you do know that Dabo himself doesn’t really recruit Florida, right? CJ Spiller and other assistants always have. He’s not a recruiter himself like Mario is.
The Sammy Watkins era only consisted of HIM...what other s.fla elite wrs did they land?. Then see what Bama did. Which is my point.

MY brother in christ YOU said CLEMSON NO LONGER Beats us for recruits when in this class they have beaten us for 4 kids. 1 being a cane legacy. YOU WERE DONE RIGHT THERE.

I'm a recruiting savant i know EXACTLY what they do...We typically go head up with Bama on kids more so than Clemson.

I have never cried chicken little on recruiting an like what we are doing in recruiting...I just think Dabo would actually RECRUIT BETTER at Bama than at Clemson and it wouldnt be hard for him to do so.

Your saying dabo himself is not a recruiter?. Come again?. Thats literally his strong point because it isnt xs and os. You mean he himself DOESNT recruit Florida...no sh*t..every school down to div 3 assistants have certain areas of recruiting. lol Dabo personally landed CJ SPILLER who you keep talkin about.

Sorry to be schilling for Dabo on here, I dont think Clemson has a recruiting problem...they have a coaching retention or development problem as its like a cult over there of just former guys dabo coached at clemson on staff....they are worse than this board of saying just hire Miami guys. there aint much outside voices and Venerables aint there to save it.

Marcus Tate, Will Putnam, Ray Ray Mcloud, Troy Stellato, TJ Moore, are all recent Florida guys that went to Clemson. Dabo hada hold in the ft myers/Tampa area for a while with Jeff Scott.

forgot the transfer to the Canes who end up a bust

Dabo has a house in Boca Grande. I know thats not right around the corner from Tampa and/or Fort Myers. But close enough he could have made a few quick visits during the off season. Between that and the church money I'm sure he made those Fl kids feel like they were a priority.
