If this game were anywhere else but Louisiana I would say Clemson for sure.

Having it played in the Superdome makes it a lot more even in my eyes.
It may just simply come down to who has the ball last in a very high scoring affair.

Clemson was a couple of yards away from losing to UNC.

What happened in the regular season is meaningless.

I think it comes down to the defenses. LSUs d looked like **** for much of the year but may have turned the corner. We'll find out if they're for real or not. LSUs offense has been ridiculous, so we'll see if Venables is worth his $2+ mil per year. I think it will be high scoring no matter what but I think the d that can make the most stops will be the difference.

I hate to pick againt Trevor Lawrence, but I don't think Clemson's DB's are going to be able to hold up.
