LSU offense is as good as I have ever seen, think they will be too much for Clemson. Those LSU receivers matching up against the Clemson safeties is no bueno for Clemson. LSU 38-24

In my opinion the staff at Clemson is the best there is in CFB. Not only great game day prep, but also in game adjustments.
With that said, I'm picking Clemson by 7-10 points.

I hate to pick againt Trevor Lawrence, but I don't think Clemson's DB's are going to be able to hold up.

I agree, LSU basically runs the football version of D'Antonio's ISO offense. But regardless, this is the best matchup of the CFP era.

Clemson can’t afford to get in an early hole. If it’s a one score game late in the 4th, I think they will pull it off.

Clemson by ruthlessness. Beginning of the end for Orgeron

Defense has made a lot of strides the past month or so. Looked solid against an OU offense that's just as explosive as Clemson.

I feel the same way. LSU wins this by at least two touchdowns. Clemson will come out fast because they feel like they have been disrespected. I expect them to play hard, but LSU will run away with it in the second half.

Key to the game is can LSU pressure Lawrence? They weren't very good in that department all year, 35 sacks on the year. If they can pressure him and force him into a turnover or two, which he hasnt done in forever they could run away with it. I think a shootout is much more likely.

Clemson’s DBs and LBs will be schemed on for 1on1 matchups and Burrow will have to be a running threat, and LSU win by 10-14 points.

LSU’s OC and passing coordinator are salivating.

Ah I think the opposite NYC. I think Clemson, with Venerables, can give LSU some wrinkles. And Clemson’s offense is nothing to sneeze at either. I think this is going to be a lot closer than people think....

I think Venables, especially with extra time, is going to have some special stuff for LSU. I wouldn't write off Clemson. They got punched in the mouth against Ohio Taint and fought back. (especially Lawrence who they beat the **** out of and he came back for more)
