Sucks when the eyeball test would have prevented you from having two top 3 teams get blown out.

My standard is compete for the ACC Championship which we've done up until last year. It's unrealistic to think that Clemson should be a National Title contender every year, and I'm grateful there have been 3 in my lifetime, one I saw live (Tampa 2016)

This conference is schitzo.
With your schedule the rest of the way I think you have a shot to be in the annual 6-team/ 2 loss tie-breaker for second place.

Indiana fans still have no clue what they're doing so you'd likely get some folks doing the IU standing chant, others that know what to do, some that couldn't be bothered to stand at all and are trying to get security to throw the first group of their own fans out, and lastly the group that makes you understand what a Hoosier is that's largely oblivious for more traditional reasons of intoxication and breeding.

When I did my roster comparison that was one thing that stood out - on paper, Clemson had a really strong OL unit. Twelve blue chip recruits.

Well that was either a bust in evaluation or a bust in development… or both. Because we had 34 pressures on 44 passing downs and held their runners to 25 net yards up until late fourth quarter garbage time.

Clemson is a decent team with a QB who is improving. But they are not going to get back to being Clemson unless they make massive changes in the trenches and coaching staff.

That’s my biggest takeaway too. Recruiting talent is one thing, actually developing that talent is another. If Clemson can’t fix the trenches, they’re gonna keep looking like a good-but-not-great team.

The NFL tells you that they never had great OLines - they just had generational QBs and aliens at WR / RB (with a system that took the OLine out of the equation as much as possible).
