RB Jawon Hamilton Decommits From Miami
David Lake

South Dade three-star running back commit Jawon Hamilton has decommitted from the University of Miami.

Hamilton was offered and committed by the UM coaching staff after the firing of Al Golden and the hiring of Mark Richt.

Hamilton was never in the plans for Richt.

"At this moment I would like to announce I am decommitting from the University of Miami," Hamilton tweeted. "From here on out I'm going to open back up my recruiting and move forward with the process and make the best decision for me."

The Hurricanes currently have 16 p_layer_s committed in the 2016 class with Travis Homer the only running back in the class.

Feel bad for the kid. Scott and staff should have never accepted his commitment

He is a great athlete. Played Football and Baseball. Based on his stats, looks like he played QB and defense. Threw for only 785 yard, 8 TD/2 INT with a passer rating of 126.6. Ran for 639 yards and 4 TDs averaging 8.2/carry. Only caught 3 passes for 90 yards. On defense, had 73 tackles and 3 picks. Also kicked for the team. Pretty impressive athlete at 6'4" 230.

I see why there's interest , even though it's just him running wild cat. Kid is really big and moves well . Has a frame for more weight.

Looks like a slower Logan Thomas , a guy who should've stayed at te. This could be a 6'4 255 te after rs.
