Class of 2015 Arrivals

I feel bad for St.Louis and Walton

Both kids are special, but it is not likely they reach their potential here.

Poor coaching. Bad schemes. And a bad support system is a trifecta people rarely overcome.

They'd have to be supremely physicslly talented to get a first round grade.

Can't wait to see Walton and St. Louis & Milo.

You and Franchise both.

So Duke, Linder, flowers, Henderson didn't reach their potential here? Stfu with that man.... Maybe Henderson but he couldn't leave the weed alone. Miami still has one of the best oline coaches in the nation and always will be a NFL RB factory....

I'm on my phone but...

A simple cursory search on Flowers calls out his lack of technique and polish across multiple scouting sites and reports. The kid started 20+ games in college. You can't be raw after that many starts technique wise. What do you call that sir?

Linder and Henderson are victims of the coaching and scouting community ignoring Miami as a whole. There is no reason a kid like Lindef should have been a 4th round pick. He was nearly a pro-bowler as a rookie.

As a matter of fact; this years draft class can thank last years draft class for performing in the pros. The scouts and GM's now understand that the film on the kids sucks because the coaching and scheme suck.

Fentress was a good special teams player. Not his fault that Paul Williams struggles recruiting safeties.

I thought he brought in dade county legends like "Jaquan Johnson" or savages like deon bush, Jamal carter? That's not really struggling if you ask me.. Has another natural fit safety playing corner in Artie burns as well. Fentress should not have played as much as he did IMO.

Jaquan never played with Fentress. Bush is good but he's the only one. We basically have two safeties (Bush and Carter) from three recruiting classes, depending if Jenkins ever comes back.

That's bad recruiting.

"[O]ne of the best oline coaches in the nation"?

According to whom?

If Kehoe is so good, why did JJ and Butch leave him here? And why was it that he could not get a job anywhere, besides the Ole Miss gig when Coker fired him?

Offensive Line isn't an issue at Miami. Defense and play calling are. I'm confident Kehoe will put out a good product next season. He's one of the best coaches on the staff.

What's your measure of a good OL?

Whatever it is, I'll make you a bet that they won't even come close to surpassing it.

Let's make an avatar bet; full off-season since we'll need to measure at the end of Goldens failed season.

They only have 3-4 guys out of 10 that can play. Most are are expecting the true FR lineman to make an immediate impact.

It is huge that our O-line is coming in semi-early with Walton. We need a bare minimum 1-2 of those guys to be in playing shape by season. O-line/RB chemistry is key.

Agree. Depth at OL can be supplemented with a couple of frosh.
Does anyone know who looks to be the most polished of incoming recruits. Have heard Milo may be that guy getting snaps but OL is tough to project.

I beg to differ.....Frentress was as bad if not worse.

Worst safety in history of program.

Tauber has a petty good tape for a walk on. He was also IMG's2014 defensive MVP

Fentress 2.0

I will take another Fentress all day.

AJ highsmith, KC Rodgers, Vaughn Telemaque were worse then Fentress. Sad part is Fentrence wouldn't start for App State

He is a top 10 pick yet he didn't reach his potential here? Didn't allow a sack in the past 2 years? Flowers was the most consistent player on the offense for the last 3 years...Henderson would have gone in the 1st or 2nd if not because of his weed issues...

How did flowers not reach his potential here? I would love to know.

IMO the development part isnt the issue here its how we run the offense and defense is what is causing us to lose games, well atleast our O linemen, linder and seantrel are balling in the league and we just had flowers go in the first

That's bad recruiting.

I was under the impression that all of our corches recruited all kinds of positions. Not just position corches recruiting their own position groups. I thought that most of their responsibilities were geographically based.

Am I mistaken on that?
