In two of the first three plays in those highlights he tips the ball and intercepts it.elite....at the HS level literally does whatever he wants to anyone in front of him...
That was enough for me.

The double team’s got my attention which in turn helps Taylor out.Collins looked pretty good in some of those highlights as well, gets a lot of pressure up the middle, forcing double team.
We will finally be strong again in the middle from tackle to safety. Been a looong time since that happened.Best DT prospect in two decades. This is the foundation of a great defense. The thought of Taylor, Williams, Kinchens, etc. This defense should dominate college football in a couple of years
Where are the other 299?

Bad comparison, in my opinion. Oliver was physical, super strong and excelled at holding down the point of attack as a true freshmen.Leonard Taylor = Ed Oliver
And looked dreadful in others.Collins looked pretty good in some of those highlights as well, gets a lot of pressure up the middle, forcing double team.
If we hold onto Collins these two the interior of our line is gonna be nastyyyyyThe double team’s got my attention which in turn helps Taylor out.
Also what stood out to me and what I most like about him. I'm surprised by his variety at this stage. He will play day 1.Bad comparison, in my opinion. Oliver was physical, super strong and excelled at holding down the point of attack as a true freshmen.
I like Christian Wilkins as a comparison to Taylor. Quick off the ball, penetrates gaps, strong hand usage and can be a disruptor on 3rd down. Taylor also displays a bevy of moves on tape, not only an overwhelming bullrush like Oliver. Gerald Willis is a good comparison too, but Taylor's frame is better than both Willis and Wilkins.
I think that's fair, I think Taylor has a better body than Wilkins though and that's why I noticed the frame comparison between him and Oliver. Definitely noticed extremely advanced (For the high school level) hand usage. But I think the athleticism between the two is similar, but the play style is much more similar to a gap penetrator.Bad comparison, in my opinion. Oliver was physical, super strong and excelled at holding down the point of attack as a true freshmen.

.....first five. He can really get out of the box.Maybe and he’s going to be 3 inches talker and probably 20pds heavier. Kids first step is elite.
