Coaches know but what can they do? Imagine if we found out that they just stopped recruiting a local 5 star kid. There would be riots.
 
The myth that winning= more 5 stars persists.

All Top 50 recruits are offered money/jobs for parents. Nearly all of them take it (can't really blame them, no guarantee that they will succeed on the field, in which case they end up with zero). A small number of players have integrity and actually choose a school based on fit, not cash.

If the University of Idaho paid more than Clemson, Harris would claim he's had a lifelong obsession with potatoes.

Most indeed but Miami kids , the ones that think highly of themselve will continue to play Miami and The Game. Yeah once Miami starts to win and a actual bowl game , Kids like this will always play Miami.

Oh I hear you on the what can they do question. I was just curious if they just know it’s coming which it sounds like they do from your response. Thanks for the follow up.

Dude, we ain't paying, they ain't coming. I got faith in Manny as well but that bag game just AIN'T gon be beat.

Yes we'll leave the state that still gives us 80% of our players and the formula that's won 5 titles cause some fans are butt hurt that players don't have blind loyalty to a team that can't win an acc title in two decades in league, was just 7-6, and plays in pinstripe bowls....look in the mirror first and fix your own **** as a team

I say that we completely shut this kid off. Totally shun him. Terminate his recruitment and never call him, text him or take his calls or return his texts. If he comes by campus to hang with someone he knows then he gets the silent treatment from everybody. Treat his like the traitor he is. Don't even speak his name.
