I have bro I have

Theres times I feel like a slight b it of hope cause it hurts I love this team...........i have other teams in major sports but I dont care about anything but the U. But I came to the conclusion that its over, I will watch and root but I know its over. In my heart Im no fool. its 15 years its too long its done. This is the hardest job in college sports period

There's still hope in my eyes. Our name may not hold weight with kids anymore but it still does with the older crowd and media. May not sound like much, but when we start winning Miami is always the media focus. A couple big wins in 09 and 17 and Miami was mentioned in every other sports segment, commercial or article. The hype builds fast. If we can get one coaching staff that can actually string together wins and end this run of fools gold apparitions and put something solid together... the feeling around South Florida and in the media all of a sudden makes schools out in the country seem less appealing.

Look I get it, if a kid wants bags above all he's not coming here... but i'm sure a good portion of kids that went elsewhere to bag would have stayed home if they were truly torn with a solid program here. Like someone mentioned earlier, no ones going to stay home to play for a ****** program for free. Only shot at free, is a hype and energy too powerful to pass up for 300k. Start putting kids into the league (Early draft picks) and we'll be able to pitch that 300k is nothing in the grand scheme of things once Miami gets you into the league, while having a college experience like no other in football.

It as if we didn't just land Jalen Rivers who Bama and UGA wanted.

Amazing

I think some of you need to take a break from this site and calm your ****. D$ isn’t the problem and some of you are taking your frustrations out on him.

Disagree. It’s the South Florida White Knight that perpetuates it. D has always been out to prove the superiority of SFL and the talent, regardless of what school they attend. We fangirl over kids that **** on the U in the name of SFL talent. The crib. These kids and their families need to be shamed for selling their kids to SEC mercenaries. Not praised for making business decisions and gushed over for throwing up a 305 in Klan Land

I was referring more to the epidemic of top ranked South Florida kids that SEC.

People were calling Harris a **** class ambassador they thought he was so solid.

Nobody is solid when life changing money gets offered.

Yeah I get that. But it was stated as some kind of inside info.

This kid is dead to me unless he come back and if he have the season would could , then kids will be kissing our feet.

However, after today’s events, I’m told from a program source that Miami was not caught off guard by this and have been anticipating a likely decommitment for about a month now. In addition, a source close to the Harris recruitment does not expect him to end up with the Hurricanes.
So this kid is being sold to the highest bidder and the staff caught wind. Makes sense.

I know some of you S. Florida recruits read this board. So read this. You guys are the most unloyal, ungrateful, turncoat backstabbers in this entire country! All of you could only wish/dream of being as good as the boys were in the 80's & 90's. All of you will never be as good as they were, because you're a bunch of little ***** *** divas.

Yoo bro chill lol this is the U man stop crying we’ll be fine

If you win you may not get South Florida 5 stars right away but you will attract out of state or other 4/5 star players who do want to go to Miami and who will be solid in their commitment. That’s what Miami needs to do focus on kids who want to be at Miami keep focusing on Tampa, Orlando, Treasure Coast, Houston, New York, Georgia, Etc you do that and South Florida kids will fill the pressure to stay home.

So do the coaches just know this is coming with “certain” kids. Kid is all Miami, SEC and clemson roll in and then boom, gone and never coming back. For those in the know, do the coaches know? Just curious.

The biggest recruits ever landed at a Miami were out of state (Texas and California which is insane)... Back in the day a kid from southridge who was the King Kong Bundy of high school went to FSU. Makes no sense but it makes sense. Recruiting is a thing of beauty. I wish I was a mathematician and could come up with an Algo to predict this stuff.

2017 gives a glimpse. We weren't even good but because we were winning, for once, and are Miami we became the talk of all sports networks. The media is dying for us to be "back". The media hype alone will spark recruiting.

Times have changed but don't stray from your roots. Recruit local, cherry pick some OOS studs and QBs.

Just think of some kids we should've gotten with any braindead staff that would've made us respectable even recently. Bridgewater and Lamar Jackson.

Two NFL QBs right in our backyard going to ******* Louisville of all places. **** go back a little more to Brissett. We'd have looked a whole lot different just landing those three, which really shouldn't be a hard recruiting battle with a competent staff.

This is why its comical to me when guys get amped up over 2021 commits, the 2019 commits are not even all here yet, and we still havent seen all the 2018 commits play yet, i cant get excited about commitments, only signed L.O.I.'s
